Ottawa police have confirmed that the suspicious package that was
detonated by police at the Department of National Defence headquarters
on Tuesday evening did contain materials that were consistent with
elements necessary for an improvised explosive device, but say there was never a danger to the public.

had watch a video entitled “Remembering 9/11.” She said she was shown
this video, after the fact, was shocked by what she saw. Sands said,
“This appalling video blames our country for the the murders of over
3,000 people.”
