The Virgin America has been hijacking search terms on the social media network Twitter to spread disinformation about the Toronto G20 Protests.

The Virgin America Twitter account was posting messages to retweet (repost on user account) certain terms to supposedly 'win' a position as a company representative. The company named the position 'provocateur'. Today is the last day of the contest, so you can easily check these search terms yourself on Twitter's website.

The fact that this contest is going on while multiple investigations into police conduct during the G20 conference, especially use of agent provocateurs, is suspicious to say least. It is my opinion that this was timed so there would be an absolute flood of disinformation all over the internet about this contest to suppress the actual news of the investigations in Toronto.

Why would Virgin America even use the term Provocateur as the label of a position within the company? Provocateurs do not have any sort of positive meaning... it literally means 'a person who provokes trouble, causes dissension, or the like; agitator', that doesn't sound like the sort I would want as a co-worker. Perhaps the position calls for the employee to obtain a job at a competitor and employ industrial sabotage? Why else would one want to use the term Provocateur as a name of a company position?

All kidding aside, this is one example of many how the corporate media is manipulating access to unbiased REAL information from all of US. Just another reason NOT to indulge in the lifestyle of the corporate tool.
